What love was. By: Keith Marshall ©. |

That summer we drove to the Grand Canyon just the two of us blasting across the desert, I wondered how many dinosaur bones lay beneath waiting to be discovered. We never made it to the Grand Canyon sitting together on the side of the road watching the sun set I remember thinking if no one ever stopped for us if the sun bleached our bones white if the wind blew a mountain over us maybe someday an archeologist would dig us up look at us lying there and know what love was.
